Hidden Keys Tool
The hidden keys tool helps you find keys which are hidden in your registry. Registry keys may be hidden from user programs if certain techniques are used to hide them. By using the native or kernel API it is possible to embed NULL characters in key names so they are not found by the Windows APIs. Also, a kernel mode driver may be able to specify special undocumented attribute flags to a registry key object so that it remains completely invisible to user mode which means no application can see it. Just click the Search button nd see what comes up. We found that most clean installations of Windows at least produce some results in a subkey of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policy\Secrets. So if those get found on your machine also, it is likely not something you need to worry about. Note that on Windows Vista the process of searching for hidden registry keys may take several minutes.
