About Windows x64 Editions
Starting with version 4.00, Registrar Registry Manager
also supports
the 64 bit editions of Windows for AMD64 and compatible processors.
On Windows 64 bit editions, certain portions of the registry have a 64 bit part
and a 32 bit part. The 32 bit part is a subset of the 64 bit registry. The
operating systems support a registry redirector for compatibility with 32 bit
applications. When running on Windows x64 edition, by default Registrar Registry
Manager will present you the 64 bit portion of the registry. You can change this
option in the Editor Options menu, which will allow
you to edit only the 32 bit portion of the registry instead. More information about the registry layout on
